The Talbooth Street Project is set to begin April 8, 2024.
With the first phase of construction, the municipal parking adjacent to 124 N. Poplar St. (Planning Dept.) and behind 120 N. Poplar St. (Bakehouse) will be closed for a period of six (6) weeks (weather permitting).
The Project will include drainage improvements, increased parking, street resurfacing, and dumpster enclosure.
Existing on-street parking along Poplar St., Main St., and Sycamore St. will be the primary options, along with some additional parking available at the corner of Knight St. and Poplar St., and off of Garrett St. between The Venue and Railhouse Brewery.
