The NC State Highway Patrol has identified the victim from the fatal wreck on 15-501 Saturday as 33-year-old Aberdeen resident Kaitlin Marie Carney.
According to the Highway Patrol, the vehicle was traveling north on US Highway 15-501 when the it ran off of the side of the roadway striking the bank of a hill and a tree before overturning two times.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle and was determined to be deceased at the scene.
Speed was a factor in this accident according to SHP officials.
