Betty Ann Morgan Obituary

Betty Ann Morgan, 66, made her final transition on Saturday, July 20th at First Health Moore Regional hospital in Pinehurst. Though she spent most of her life in Elkhart, Indiana, her last wish was to be home in Aberdeen as she transitioned to her eternal life. Betty took her last journey down to Aberdeen on the Friday before and she spent her last week in her childhood home where she wanted to spend quality time with her sisters, brother, nieces, their children, her soon-to-be nephew, Matt, and close family as they made sure all her wishes were fulfilled.

Betty lived her life the best she knew and made every day count. She and her fur baby Anna Girl would adventure home for an extended stay every chance she got to make memories in NC and spend quality time with her family. Born on April 20th, 1958, to the late James Cleveland Morgan and Lillie Mae Morgan (Blalock) she spent her childhood in Moore County. As she got older, she followed her sister Pennie to Elkhart Indiana where she met her life partner Harold and called Elkhart her second home.

Betty has joined her mother and father, her brothers Steve Alvin Morgan and Jeffrey Wayne Morgan, and her nephews Jay Dean Watson and Nicholas James Watson.

She leaves behind her fur baby Anna Girl; her sisters Pennie Watson and Sueanne Morgan; her brother Jimmy Morgan (Norma); her life partner Harold Grubbs; her nieces Amy Morgan, Wendy Morgan, Michelle Davis (Matt), and Beth Deming (Bryan); and her nephew Nathan Morgan. She also leaves behind many cousins that she adored.

While our hearts mourn the loss of our beloved Betty Ann, we all take comfort in knowing she is with our Lord and her family she has missed so dearly. The family wishes that all join us as we say our final farewells on Thursday, July 25th at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines from 10am - 11am with burial service immediately following. Betty Ann will be laid to rest at Beulah Hill Baptist Church in Taylortown in the Morgan family lot.

Services are entrusted to Boles Funeral Home of Southern Pines.
