Sheriff Ronnie Fields announces an arrest following a drug investigation in the Carthage area of Moore County.
On May 7th ,2024 detectives with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Barber’s Park Drive in Carthage, North Carolina. As a result of the search, detectives seized fentanyl, marijuana, and items of drug paraphernalia.
Ethan Elijah Jackson, age 23, of Carthage, N.C. was arrested and charged with felony possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance, selling a schedule II controlled substance, delivering a schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling place for controlled substance, simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Jackson was committed to the Moore County Detention Center under a $50,000.00 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on May 20th, 2024.
