Coy Arthur (Art) McKenzie, Jr., 77 of West End, passed away on June 30, 2024 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Born on December 18, 1946 in Pinehurst to the late Coy Arthur and Martha Jane McKenzie. Coy loved gardening, tending to his chickens and was a big fan of UNC basketball. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Corey that he was very proud of.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mitzi W. McKenzie; one daughter, Kelly McKenzie Curlee; sister, Patricia Hinson (Larry); nephew, Todd B. Hunt (Christy); grandson, Corey Michael Curlee; also survived by many cousins, and other extended family.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 2:00-3:00PM at Culdee Presbyterian Church with funeral service following at 3:00PM. Burial Private for family.
Services are entrusted to Boles Funeral Home of Southern Pines.
