Driveby Shooting In Aberdeen Saturday


We are on location at a driveby shooting incident in Aberdeen where a house was struck 4 times. There are no injuries reported in this incident.


This occurred on the 100 block of Sandy Springs Road off of Pee Dee Road in Aberdeen with police receiving the call just after 4:30 pm.


According to Aberdeen Police Chief Brian Chavis who is on the scene this is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.


The Chief stated that at this point the only description that they have is a silver sedan with possible damage to the right front quarter panel of the vehicle.



Officers were going door-to-door in the neighborhood to see if anyone possibly witnessed anything, or if anyone has camera footage of the roadway.


Responding are Patrol units and Detectives with the Aberdeen Police Department.
