The Aberdeen Police Department was called to Walmart Friday morning to a report of an altercation that involved a customer and an employee.
The customer that was involved had reportedly left the scene when law enforcement arrived.
According to police officials the customer physically assaulted a male employee at Walmart.
An ambulance was called to the scene by law enforcement officers to evaluate the employee, however the employee did not require transport to the hospital.
As of this report this is an active assault investigation according to Aberdeen Police Department Deputy Chief Spellman.
