Hoke Arrest Nets One Pound Marijuana Fentanyl & More


The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office announces on July 17, 2024 members of the Hoke County Special Operations served a narcotic search warrant at the 500 block of E. Donaldson Avenue Raeford, North Carolina. Narcotics detectives had an on-going narcotic investigation involving Charles Lindle Justice prior to the search warrant.

Mr. Lindle was also on active probation out of Hoke County for a conviction of possession of firearm by convicted felon. The N.C. Department of Public Safety - (North Carolina Department of Adult Correction) assisted with the search warrant and originally attempted to conduct a warrantless search of the residence.

During the search of the property law enforcement located a 9mm handgun, 15 grams of suspected fentanyl, 15 grams of suspected cocaine, 22 dosage units of oxycodone, approximately one (1) pound of marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia, including plastic baggies and digital scales.


Charles Justice was taken into custody and transported to the Hoke County Jail where he was charged with Trafficking Schedule I-controlled substance, possession of firearm by convicted felon, possess with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, possess with intent to sell/deliver a schedule II-controlled substance, possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Justice is currently being held with no bond.
