House Damaged By Fire Thursday In Taylortown


Emergency responders were dispatched to a possible structure fire Thursday on Taylor Avenue in Taylortown just before 11:30 am.


The first arriving fire units reported smoke showing from a single-story home.


According to Pinehurst Fire Chief Carlton Cole firefighters were able to limit the damage from the fire to one bedroom, however the whole house was damaged by smoke from the fire.


Everyone that had been in the home was able to get out prior to the arrival of fire units with no injuries reported.



Taylor Avenue was totally blocked to traffic in both directions while firefighters were on the scene.


Responding included Pinehurst Fire Department, Eastwood Fire Department, West End Fire & Rescue, Aberdeen Fire & Rescue, Moore County EMS, and Taylortown Police Department.
