Joan Taylor Bellavigna, a resident of Penick Village in Southern Pines, passed away on May 31, 2024.
Joan, born July 2, 1927 was the daughter of the late Mildred Euler Neve and Frederick Sinclair Taylor and sister to the late William Sinclair Taylor.
She was a graduate of New York State University at New Paltz, NY and taught elementary grades in several school systems in New York.
Joan was predeceased by her husband, Godfrey in 2009.
She is survived by their son Peter (Kiyomi) and grandsons Kenji and Seiji and daughter Emily Bellavigna Muha (David) and granddaughter Noelle and grandson Ryan.
Services entrusted to Boles Funeral Home of Southern Pines.
