Saturday morning more than two dozen jeeps met at Cactus Creek Coffee in Aberdeen to begin a day-long fund raiser drive to raise money for one of their members who previously had a kidney transplant, and is in need of a second transplant.
Today is National Go Topless Day for jeep enthusiasts across the nation. The local group here decided to make this day coincide with a fund raiser to "Go Topless For Teri".
In addition to a raffle drawing, a dozen different businesses across the community worked with the group and its fundraising efforts. Today the caravan of jeeps drove across the county visiting the participating businesses to collect the donations.
I hope all the people that called the police on us with reports of "reckless driving and running stop signs" read this.
Phenomenal job done by this group, yet again, to enrich the lives of Moore County citizens.
