Kevin Patrick Kinnamon was born March 27, 1959 and passed away Monday, May 27, 2024 at First Health Hospice House in Pinehurst, NC.
Kevin loved. He loved his family and is survived by his wife of 42 years Linda, son Patrick Kinnamon (Ellen) and daughter Kelley Theurer (Brad), two cherished grandchildren Noah and Rosie Theurer, his mother Jean, sister Traci and brother Kerry. His father, Robert Smith Kinnamon, predeceased him.
Kevin loved his friends, and they are countless. His school friends are from Westport High School in Louisville, Kentucky and from Western Kentucky University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in photojournalism and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
He worked in IT after college, then software sales. Wherever he worked, people were the best part of the job for him, and he will be mourned by many work friends.
He loved the outdoors and often referred to himself as an outside dog. Whether he was fly-fishing, hiking, golfing, skiing, scuba diving, mountain biking, or sitting on the porch with a Scotch and cigar, he just loved being outside. Of course, all those activities included people he loved.
Kevin’s loving and generous spirit included charities. In lieu of flowers, he would no doubt prefer feeding people through donations to World Central Kitchen. wck.org
Graveside service will be 11 AM, Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Bethesda Cemetery, Aberdeen, NC.
