Sheriff Ronnie Fields wishes to inform the community that Moore County Sheriff's deputies, in coordination with Moore County Schools Police, are responding to an anonymous telephone threat directed at Cameron Elementary School.
Law enforcement personnel are currently on the scene and have not identified any credible threat at this time.
The Sheriff's Office is working closely with school police to ensure the safety of all Moore County Schools.
We will continue to keep the public updated as more information becomes available.
