Man Shot Multiple Times With Pellet Gun In Aberdeen Wednesday


Emergency responders were dispatched this afternoon just after 12: 30 pm to the 500 block of Bradford Drive in Aberdeen in reference to a possible shooting.

When law enforcement and emergency services arrived on the scene, they found a male subject who had been shot multiple times with a pellet gun.


According to Aberdeen police Chief Brian Chavis, this incident began as a fight between two men at an apartment here. One of the men pulled out a pellet gun and began firing.



The person that was shot was hit several times including in the head. This person is being transported to the hospital by ambulance with injuries that were reportedly not life threatening.


A male subject was taken into custody at the scene by Aberdeen police.


Responding were Aberdeen Fire and Rescue, Moore County EMS and the Aberdeen Police Department.
