Marian Ellen Andersen, 88 of Southern Pines, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 25, 2024 at her home.
Born on June 3, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Arnold John and Mary Ellen Siddons. Marian was a loving, kind and the most generous person. She was truly adored by everyone she met. Her kind heart made her into the most loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She loved writing, entering raffles (which she seemed to never lose) and shoes. Her family could count on her to never miss a birthday with a sweet card. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Andersen; one brother, Robert Siddons; and one grandson, Robert.
She is survived by her four children, Kevin Andersen and wife, Barbara, Kenneth Andersen and wife, Paula, Kurt Andersen and Lisa and Karen McCambridge and husband, Joseph; nine grandchildren, David, Daniel, Kristoffer, Timothy, Keith, Larissa, Kenneth, Michael and Kristen; also survived by four great grandchildren, Anthony, Pasquale, Gianni and Amelia.
A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends.
Services are entrusted to Boles Funeral Home of Southern Pines.
