Mary Louise Brodict, age 86, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2024.
Mary Lou was born July 10, 1937 in Belle Vernon, PA to Joseph and Brilla (Bossitti) Krosoff.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul, brothers Joe &, Karl and granddaughter Nina.
After graduating high school, she was employed at Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Bettis Atomic Power Division. She met her husband Paul at Westinghouse and they were married in 1959. She had 3 children; Steven (wife Sheree), Daniel (wife Shelley) and Jennifer. She was blessed with 3 grandchildren Nina, Paul (wife Kirstin), Emily (husband Brett) Bushong.
Initially she was a stay at home mom. After her children had grown, she resumed her career at Digital Equipment Corporation and Passavant Hospital Foundation.
After retiring with her husband Paul in 1997 to Pinehurst, she became a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and First Health Hospital.
Paul and Mary Lou traveled often, whether to visit family or explore countries in Europe. As always, they enjoyed good food, good wine and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Habitat for Humanity or Wounded Warrior Project.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church of Pinehurst NC on Friday May 31 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Services are entrusted to Boles Funeral Home of Pinehurst.
