Emergency responders were dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle accident at 3:20 am in the 600 block of Sandpit Road outside of Pinebluff Thursday morning.
Firefighters arrived to find an S10 pickup that had ran off of the road striking a large pine tree causing extensive damage to the truck in this single-vehicle accident.
The adult male driver was the only occupant in the vehicle and was transported to the hospital by ambulance with injuries that were reported as not life-threatening.
Responding tonight were units with Pinebluff Fire & Rescue, Aberdeen Fire & Rescue, Moore County EMS, Moore County Sheriff's Office, and the NC State Highway Patrol.
