Emergency responders were dispatched to a vehicle accident on Midland Road at the intersection of Airport Road just after 10:00 am Monday.
One lane in each direction of Midland Road was temporarily blocked by the accident causing a slowdown for drivers in the area.
One person was transported to the hospital by ambulance with injuries reported as not life-threatening.
According to law enforcement a passenger car coming off of Airport Road was struck by a vehicle driving on Midland Road in a T-bone style collision.
Responding today were units with Pinehurst Fire Department, Moore County EMS, and the Pinehurst Police Department.
