Raeford Man Charged In Southern Pines Area B&E And Vehicle Theft


Sheriff Ronnie Fields announces an arrest following an investigation in the Southern Pines area of Moore County.


On March 30, 2024 the Moore County Sheriff’s Office received a report of breaking and entering and larceny of a motor vehicle from a residence in Southern Pines, North Carolina. In early May, sheriff’s investigators located and recovered the vehicle in another county.

On May 8, 2024 investigators arrested Brandon Scott Bowers, age 40, of Raeford, North Carolina in connection with the larceny.


Bowers was charged with felony breaking or entering, larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen property, obtaining property by false pretense, and habitual felon and was committed to the Moore County Detention Center under a $10,000.00 secured bond pending an appearance in Moore County District Court on May 10, 2024.


All persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
