Terry Michael Barber, born March 2, 1953, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.
Terry exceeded expectations in numerous ways throughout his life. He welcomed friends with a smile that lightened one’s day and provided inspiration to all.
A lifelong member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Terry could always be found there on Sundays. Terry’s routines centered around puzzles, favorite tv shows, and later in life, a love of dancing with friends at Magnolia Gardens.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Charity Barber, and his younger brother, Artie. He will be laid to rest with his family in Cross Hill Cemetery in Carthage.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 21st, with a reception to follow at his Aunt Sheila’s residence (3426 Old River Road, Carthage).
