Emergency responders were dispatched to a tractor-trailer overturned at the intersection of NC 211 and US 15-501 in Aberdeen just after 10:30 am.
A Trooper with the NC State Highway Patrol reportedly saw the overturned truck and called for assistance.
The driver of the truck was not injured in today's incident.
The trailer was loaded with wood chips when this accident occurred.
One lane of NC 211 is currently blocked by the accident while officials wait on a large wrecker to right the vehicle.
Responding today were units with Aberdeen Fire & Rescue, NC State Highway Patrol and the Aberdeen Police Department.
