Emergency responders were dispatched to a vehicle accident on US Highway 15-501 just after 9:00 pm near the entrance to Harris Teeter.
The two-vehicle collision resulted in one vehicle running off of the roadway in front of Honey Baked Hams with the second vehicle remaining in the roadway with heavy damage.
Moore County EMS was on scene evaluating the victims from tonight's accident. According to fire officials no one required transport to the hospital.
All of the lanes of 15-501 were closed for approximately 45 minutes before the two southbound lanes were able to reopen. The two northbound lanes remained closed as the roadway remained blocked by the vehicle and debris.
The cause of the accident remained under investigation as of this report.
Responding tonight were units with Aberdeen Fire & Rescue, Moore County EMS, NC State Highway Patrol, and the Aberdeen Police Department.
