Emergency responders were dispatched to a reported vehicle accident on US Highway 1 at the corner of Branch Trail Wednesday afternoon at 4:34 pm.
The first responding fire unit reported a vehicle had struck a building with heavy damage to the building and vehicle.
A Toyota Rav4 had run off of US Highway 1 running through the front of a small building and coming out the back corner.
The 41-year-old Cameron woman who was driving was transported to the hospital by ambulance with injuries said to be not life-threatening.
A Moore County Building Inspector was also called to the scene to evaluate the structural integrity of the building following the accident.
Responding today were units with Cypress Pointe Fire & Rescue, Moore County EMS, Moore County Sheriff's Office, and the NC State Highway Patrol.
The accident was under investigation by the NC State Highway Patrol as of this report.
