Emergency responders were dispatched to reports that a vehicle had struck a building on Southern Dunes Drive off of US Highway 1 around 2:00 pm Thursday.
A pickup truck had struck the front of the building that holds the Hometown Family Dental Center.
According to officials there were no injuries reported for anyone in the vehicle or inside the building.
The staff from the dentist office was gathered together outside just to the side of the large hole that now exist in the building.
Due to the significant damage a Building Inspector with the County was called to the scene to evaluate the damage to the structure and ensure structural integrity.
Responding today were units with Cypress Pointe Fire & Rescue, Vass Police Department, Moore County Sheriff's Office, and the NC State Highway Patrol.
