Emergency responders were dispatched to a vehicle accident Friday morning around 9:00 am on US Highway 1 in Pinebluff.
One person was injured when the SUV he was driving southbound ran off of the road hitting the ditch in the center median before the vehicle reportedly rolled over several times coming to a rest on its side.
Bystanders assisted the driver from the vehicle before emergency services arrived on the scene.
The damage to the other two vehicles involved was minimal with no one in either vehicle injured.
One person was transported to the hospital by ambulance with injuries reported as not life-threatening.
One lane of US Highway 1 in the northbound direction was temporarily blocked to traffic while the victim was assisted and the accident investigation was conducted.
The cause of the accident remained under investigation by Pinebluff Police Department as of this report
Responding this morning were units with Pinebluff Fire & Rescue, Moore County EMS, and the Pinebluff Police Department.
