Emergency responders were dispatched for a vehicle overturned on US Highway 15-501 near US Highway 1 in Aberdeen just before 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
This single vehicle accident was called in by an Aberdeen police officer who was on patrol.
The driver of the vehicle was reportedly able to get out of the overturned car on his own prior to the arrival of the fire department.
The driver was evaluated at the scene by EMS, however did not require transport.
According to law enforcement the driver had just turned off of US Highway 1 when he lost control of the car hitting the curb and overturning coming to a rest on the vehicles side just off the roadway.
Responding today were units with Aberdeen Fire & Rescue, Moore County EMs and the Aberdeen Police Department.
