The Aberdeen Police Department announces the arrest of Kobe Bryce McDuffie, 24 years of age, of Raeford, North Carolina.
On April 13, 2024, Patrol Officers with the Aberdeen Police Department responded to Walmart, in reference to larceny by employee investigation. The business reported that an employee, identified as McDuffie, stole several hundred dollars’ worth of items, while at work, on April 11, 2024 and April 12, 2024.
During the investigation, officers obtained statements and reviewed video surveillance, to verify the crime had occurred. On April 13, 2024, officers took McDuffie into custody, where they located Fentanyl, a Schedule II Controlled Substance, on his person. McDuffie also had outstanding Felony warrants out of Lee County, at the time of his arrest.
McDuffie was taken before a Moore County Magistrate and was remanded to the Moore County Detention Center under a $10,000.00 secured bond for charges out of Aberdeen, and an additional $10,000.00 secured bond for outstanding warrants from Lee County.
All persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
